I was thinking the clear roofing plastic for barns would work well, were is the heater going to be, an outside wood stove where the exhaust pipe curves through the bottom under the floor broad would be nice (the Chinese use the exhaust off the stove to cook and and keep there beds warm, it look pretty neat, I was thinking that would be a good solution for a green house. Keep the smoke out but the heat would radiate through the floor.

Don't know if you figured out your friction drive yet, but the old B&S Flyer buckboard used a spring loaded drop down road friction drive wheel. Just move it up to the center of the car. Works like the drive wheel/drum on a commercial mower I used to have. Good luck. Check out the replicars group on yahoo.

At one time I was very interested in buying the bank building. I wanted to move my business there to Yreka and operate it from the bottom floor and convert the top to a flat so I could live upstairs. I have a feeling I might still be working on the old building that is while my business waited. I really like the old Bank building though and often think about what might have been. As I recall it had been a Bank of America, Montgomery Wards and a thrift store. I have not been there for awhile, what is it now? Don I would like to learn more about sketchup. I am fairly proficient with Corel draw. However Corel draw is limited to flat drawings. I would like to enter the 3d rendering world but I am trying to figure out which 3d program. What is your opinion on the many 3d programs? I ultimately would like to produce models in 3d (stl.files etc.).

Linked through to your blog from sketchup. Your staircase is amazing and beautiful. It would be wonderful to have those lights on a motion sensor so the stairs would light at night if anyone came near them. Thank you for sharing your art.

For a basic topiary design to add to your formal garden, try using techniques to coax smooth curves in your hedges, helping the shape of your garden to flow. Or, if you still have something that's got a lot of right angles and corners, start growing shapes at the corners to add decoration; think of the ornaments you see at the corners on fancy staircases and molding in structural Garden design.
By incorporating topiary into your formal garden design, you can take basic lines and create art, all adding up to a good-looking, green space in your home.
If you are looking for more info then consider the following:

1) The Bookstore - there are books on every topic, and they are typically more complete than the internet

2) Search Engines - Don't forget your search engines

3) Local stores - employees at specialty stores can be very helpful
