Sowing success with YouTube’s farming community

You might regularly encounter the phrase “farm to table” at restaurants, but to understand what this really looks like, turn to YouTube’s farming community. This global group of full-time farmers and agricultural machinery enthusiasts is raising awareness about where food comes from and turning their everyday work into unlikely sources of entertainment.

In these creators’ hands, carrot harvests are oddly satisfying, barn tours become the new apartment tours, and hit songs get the farming treatment. First-time farmers upload alongside those whose families have worked the fields for generations, with both sharing innovative techniques, daily vlogs, farm tours, and equipment reviews. So far this year, views of videos with "farm" and "tour" in the title have received more than 80M views.1

Today, as the full harvest moon appears in the sky on the verge of the autumnal equinox, we’re celebrating the farming creators who capture harvests around the world. Take a look at some of their global crops in a special, animated version of the YouTube logo, which we call a “Yoodle”. Then, head to this playlist for more tractor trips.
