Veronica Sanchez (also known as Mrs. Sanchez or Dr. Sanchez) is the mother of Penny Sanchez. She is a veterinarian and runs a clinic out of her backyard. She was once referred to by a client as the best veterinarian in Plainville. She has a thick Mexican accent and accentuates her speech with Spanish-language words and phrases.

Personality[]

Mrs. Sanchez is a hard-working professional whose very work minded. She is always pushing Penny to succeed in everything she does, though this often leads to overpowering anxiety on her daughter's part. It's implied that she isn't very fond of Rudy, as she's often annoyed by his antics, though she tolerates him enough to let him be friends with her daughter.

Physical Appearance[]

Mrs. Sanchez shares many traits with her daughter, including her glasses and brown hair. Her casual attire consists of a yellow collared shirt, denim jeans, blue shoes and sapphire earrings. When she works with animals, she wears a white lab coat over her clothes and when necessary, dons a pair of yellow latex gloves.

Trivia[]

  • She appears to be a single mother, as Penny's dad does never appear in the series.
  • Some fans speculate that the unnamed boy in a flashback of "French Fry Falls" (also known as "Amazin' River" in Oh Yeah! Cartoons shorts) might be Penny ‘s father because he was the very first human artist in ChalkZone before Rudy come along in the first pilot episode (also known as "Rudy ‘s First Adventure" in the entire series) of the series.
  • She used to have an unnamed pet monkey.
  • If the series, continues it would be possible that her daughter would follow in her footsteps she’ll become ChalkZone’s first ever chalk doctor.
