Juzo Kumiya (
Appearance[]
Juzo is a large muscular man who has a bald head and dark markings that cover his eyes and the bridge of his nose. This marking is reminiscent to that of a typical thief found in cartoons, and subsequently, the animal it represents, which is the raccoon.
Juzo wears a dark-colored apron over his bare chest, dark-colored pants, and equally dark-colored boots with metal tips.
Personality[]
Juzo is a very aggressive man who is very openly out of his mind. He's crazy, doesn't follow orders, and desires to only to kill people and use their corpses to make "hanger racks". Because cursed spirits don't leave a body behind when they're exorcised, Juzo has no interest at all in them.[1]
Juzo prefers his victims to be young women or someone strong because he can make something nice out of them. For this same reason, killing old men doesn't interest him as much, and taking out more prized targets always takes priority. Juzo is so crazy and foolhardy in his way that he would even challenge Satoru Gojo, immediately marking him as a target for a perfect hanger rack.[2]
Synopsis[]
History[]
At some point of time Juzo met Pseudo-Geto and joined his group. When Geto talks with the cursed spirits about invading the Tokyo college, Geto says that they will use Juzo since he is disposable. At some point of time Juzo invented the Dragon-Bone which he considers as his masterpiece. Before invading the Tokyo college, Juzo gave one of his allies a sword that he had made.
Kyoto Goodwill Event Arc[]
Juzo invades the Tokyo college, along with Mahito, Hanami and another curse user.[3] Once inside, Juzo creates a screen that encloses the site that the event is happening at, restricting only Gojo from entering while allowing other shamans to enter.[4]
After the screen has covered the site, Juzo heads off and encounters Utahime and Yoshinobu. When Yoshinobu sends Utahime off, Juzo is disappointed that he will have to face a decrepit old man that he can't make anything out of.[5][6] Juzo manages to figure out Yoshinobu's ability and get excited since he plans to turn the old man into a wallet.[7]
When Gojo breaks through the screen, Juzo gets excited that he will be able to turn Gojo into a hanger rack. As Juzo goes to try and attack Gojo, Gojo easily manages to crushes Juzo's arms and legs, restricting him from moving and allowing the Jujutsu to arrest him.[8][9]
After the invaders have been dealt with, Juzo is interrogated but doesn't reveal much except that he doesn't know the age and gender of a monk kid.[10][11]
Abilities and Powers[]
Overall Skill: Juzo is a curse user with the ability to create weapons and use barriers. Combined with his aggressive and reckless nature, he's a dangerous opponent. Kyoto Jujutsu High's Principal Yoshinobu considered Juzo a formidable opponent despite not being as strong as the special grade cursed spirits. However, Pseudo-Geto felt that Juzo was expendable for their cause mostly due to his attitude and refusal to follow orders.
Expert Weapons Specialist: Juzo wields his axe in battle well enough to fend off Yoshinobu's waves of cursed energy. He's also an adept craftsman, having a workshop where he built cursed tools. He has forged Haruta Shigemo's sword for him. Dragon-Bone was his personal masterpiece, the finest cursed tool in his collection, which was later obtained by Maki Zenin.
