With a solid lower register and calm, gravelly timbre, Peter LeMarc's is a beloved voice in Swedish pop. As a struggling singer-songwriter, he had started to evolve from synthetic ‘80s pop to a rock-inspired sound when he became a radio sensation with his pop-rock classic “Håll Om Mej!” in 1987. LeMarc enjoyed critical acclaim for his romantic ballads and lyrical talent throughout the late-‘80s and early-‘90s—and after a long hiatus, he returned to songwriting, lending a more laid-back acoustic style to his poignant, intimate compositions.
