Liam Bassiter was a boy who went to Harcourt High with Matt Wheeler. After he got starling droppings on him from Lucky on Matt's command, he started to abuse him. Once, he fought Matt in Mr Janssen's garden getting them both in serious trouble.[2]

A few minutes after head-butting Matt in Mr Makepeace's PE lesson on Friday, Liam feel unconscious and was taken to Thornleigh General Hospital. Early on the Monday morning, at 2:44 a.m.,[1] he died from a heart attack caused by an undetected heart condition. Mr Rosen had to read out the news in the school assembly.[3] When digging up his coffin, Spin found it was full of flour bags.[4]
