Kim Beommin (김법민, Gimbeommin) also known as King Munmu or King of Unified Silla is a character in The Gamer. He's a tribal God of Korea [1] and the dragon king of the east sea who unified the three ancient Korean kingdoms: Silla, Baekje and Goguryeo. [2]

Appearance[]

He's a dragon but forms an illusion of a young boy that has blue hair with blue-green eyes and wears a white t-shirt.

Personality[]

Kim Beommin has a very mysterious character. He is casual but has high status. Not much is known about him.

History[]

King Munmu is said to have become a dragon after his death and he gave people a magic flute which would keep the country peaceful.[3] He gave his son, king Sinmun, that magic flute.

Plot[]

Divine Birch Tree Investigation Arc[]

Kim Beommin was visited in Dragon Land by Han Jihan and Lolikiano Mistrim because Lolikiano wanted the fruit of the Divine Birch Tree. However, Kim told her that you need the three heavenly artifacts to find the tree (the Heavenly Sword, the Heavenly Rattle and the Heavenly Mirror) and that the Heavenly Mirror's location is currently unknown and nobody knows where to find it, and that a skilled magician could hide it in a private place, therefore indirectly answering Mistrim's question. He wished her good luck at finding the artifacts because he also wants them. Before they left, he spoke to Jihan through telepathy and told him that he has a good feeling about him and told him to come visit him again.

In Hangul, his name is written as Kim Beopmin but due to some pronunciation rules it's pronounced as Kim Beommin.
