What do you do if your IT team resists continuous learning and professional development?

My view is that before "Continuous learning and professional development" is entrusted to the Importance, Outcome & Benefits to be properly defined and informed. Nevertheless if still there are "Resistance", its importance to identify the depth of the reason for such through an open mind and review such with appropriate actions. Its very unlikely in my experience, this approach has failed and proud that have been worked with such team that had always had the hunger to Learn, Improve & Contribute and be part with the Technology

In order to bring confidence in others it is important to mention what you have learnt and how you were able to understand it slowly, by doing a POC for the technology, then trying it on a non prod environment. Also it is important to let the team learn and make mistakes and encourage them to connect with you or the others who know it to support them.
