Material Quality shouldn't be an internal team's affair, in our industry, Materials Quality is a client's check box and we as a contractor PMT have to follow the Client's Quality standards, Yes, conflict can rise when selecting a vendor to purchase from based on Cost Delivery time and Delivery method. as far as conflict management is concerned I would delve into the root of the disagreement holding a meeting to discuss the subjects in question and bringing each perspective on table and resolve.

I’ll bring the team together to discuss concerns, ensuring everyone is heard. We’ll focus on project standards and, if necessary, consult an expert for an unbiased opinion. The goal is to collaborate and reach a solution that meets quality expectations.

Start by listening to both sides, understanding perspectives, and acknowledging emotions. I will encourage open dialogue, find common ground, and work together to find a solution that is fair and beneficial to all parties.

What makes it a quality item needs to have a reference. In construction that is the specs. They outline the variables needed for the product. ....... another reference would be industry standards, but IS usually describes the GENERAL qualities and the spec defines the SPECIFIC quality of a product.

Cuando se elige un proveedor se debe evaluar la calidad de los materiales, los tiempos de entrega y las facilidades de pagos para que encaje con los tiempos de los estados de pago de la obra, por lo que la calidad del material es sólo uno de los factores a tomar en consideración al momento de elegir un proveedor y por lo general el nivel de la calidad de los materiales y los tiempos nos los da cliente. Uno debe orientarse a que la obra optimice sus procesos para dejar un producto acorde a las especificaciones del mandante, lo que se respalda en el libro de obra habiendo ya discutido sobre los parámetros de la construcción, escuchando de manera activa a todos los participantes y dando la argumentación correspondiente a las áreas involucradas

¿Quién suministra el material? ¿quién lo recepciona? El primero debe garantizar la calidad de lo que suministra, el que la recibe debe asegurarse de que el producto venga sin desvíos a la calidad (inspección del producto) y con sus certificados de fabricación y ensayos. Si el que suministra es quien lo instala y entrega el servicio o producto, entonces le toca al cliente realizar el aseguramiento de la calidad, dentro del cual está la emisión de No conformidades. Todo esto debe estar documentado en un plan de Calidad o en las cláusulas de la adquisición o el contrato del servicio. El asunto se resuelve con planes de acción, activación de garantías, reconocimiento del impacto económico, y la reposición de un nuevo producto.
