When a client doubts the confidentiality of coaching sessions, it’s crucial to reassure them and maintain trust by clearly explaining the confidentiality agreement in place. I would begin by walking them through the specific terms of our agreement, emphasizing that everything shared during our sessions is protected and will not be disclosed without their explicit consent. I would also highlight the privacy policies I follow, including secure communication methods, data protection measures, and the use of Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) when applicable. By transparently outlining how their personal information is safeguarded, I can reinforce the trust between us, helping them feel more secure in opening up.

I always start my sessions by creating a safe space for my coachee providing them space & comfort so that they can open up about their issues. I create such an aura where they can bloom beautifully ensuring them the more they open up with me the better I will be able to help providing them the assurance that our conversation is absolutely confidential and thus results in rapport building with the client.
