How do I log in or reset my password?

This guide will show you how to log in to your account on the Telegraph app and how to reset your password

 

How to log in to the Telegraph app

If you have a Digital, Digital Plus, Family Pack or Print subscription, you can get the latest news and download the full, daily newspaper on your phone or tablet using our subscriber-exclusive Telegraph app available from the app store. 

Once downloaded, you’ll be asked to log in using your Telegraph email address and password, you can also log in with your TS number and postcode if you are a Print subscriber.

Please note, the Telegraph app is not available to Print Classic subscribers. If you are a Print Classic subscriber and would like to upgrade to a Print subscription with access to the Telegraph app, or if you require general assistance, get in touch with our Subscriptions Team on 0800 316 3500.

How to log in to the Telegraph app with a Google Play or Apple subscription

If you have taken out a Telegraph subscription through Apple, you’ll need to log in to the Telegraph app by tapping ‘Restore app purchase’ within ‘Manage account’ in ‘Settings’. You might be asked to enter your app store login to verify your purchase.

If you have a subscription through Google Play, your account should automatically log in for you.

How to reset your password on the Telegraph app

  • You can find a link to reset your password here, alternatively you can tap ‘Forgotten password?’ on the login screen
  • Enter your email address for your Telegraph account so we can send a reset password link to you
  • Open the reset password email and click ‘Reset my password’ or copy and paste the web address shown into your browser (please note this link will only work once)
  • When the webpage loads, enter your new password and then confirm it
  • Once confirmed, relaunch the app where you can reattempt logging in from ‘Manage account’ found within ‘Settings’
