Manga E244 Tudor Regular Army

Knights of the Tudor Regular Army.

The Tudor Empire (チューダー帝国) is an empire possessing one of the strongest military forces on the continent. At some point, Tudor seizes Doldrey from Midland and uses the fortress as a foothold in invading and conquering the nation, thus initiating the Hundred-Year War.[1] During the war, Tudor attempts to claim the northern island of Grant, keeping a settlement known as Fort Chester. Among other war-time atrocities, local children were subjected to indoctrination, with a large number of them dying from the cruel training regime. Tudor's territorial claims come to an end when Grunbeld, now an apostle, burns down every Tudor base.[2]

The empire also exports war gear to the surrounding lands. This is the case of a lord who bought for his son a nigh-impregnable set full mail made in Tudor.[3]

Internal conflict eventually breaks out over the next succession to the throne, leaving Tudor unable to spare their full military potential in defense of Doldrey.[1] Using this opportunity to strike, the Band of the Falcon recaptures Doldrey for Midland,[4] and Tudor is forced to seek peace with its rival kingdom through the signing of an armistice.[5]

Years later, Tudor amasses its forces as a member of the Holy See Alliance in defense of Vritannis during the Kushan invasion of the continent.[6]

Military[]

Tudor's military forces are easily recognizable by their arms and armor. Its professional soldiers, especially knights, along with their horses, wear heavy armor and use mainly pikes and halberds as weapons. Furthermore, each order of knights has its own recognizable style of armor, with the helmets of the Amphibious Raid Wild Beast Knights depicting walrus-like tusks, the Black Ram Iron Lance Knights being adorned with ram horns, the Blue Whale Knights decorated with fish scales, and the mounts of the Purple Rhino Knights bearing horns on their chanfrons while their riders, despite the diversity of shapes of their helmets, all wear a unique horn at the front of their helmet.
