This is a wiki-wide policy.
- All episodes are considered spoilers until two (2) weeks after their English dub airdate. See chart below for when episodes stop being considered spoilers.
- This has been updated from our previous guideline which upheld the official U.S. airdate. As episode releases in the U.S. tend to lag behind releases in other countries, where English Dub releases are also available, we've relaxed the requirements to allow for easier discussion of released episodes.
What is NOT a spoiler:
- Episode titles and release dates
- Production codes and self-created chronological ordering of episodes (so long as they don't include in-depth plot details)
- Production credits (animation studio, writers, cast, crew, etc.)
- Information from all forthcoming theme songs/opening credits, so long as two weeks have past since its initial release
What is a spoiler:
- Content from or featuring unreleased episodes (synopsis, character names and designs, major plot details, images, clips, quotes, and other media)
- Information provided by crew members (e.g. kwami names, miraculous concepts) are an exception as they typically refer to lore and have little relation to unreleased episodes.
- Secondary or minor character appearances/absences and the absence of major characters
- The appearance of major characters is not considered a spoiler since this can be assumed
Spoiler Timetable
To help wiki editors and Discussions users keep track of what is and isn't considered a spoiler, we've devised this timetable to catalogue each recent episode's English dub release, and the date its spoiler status will be lifted. If this table is not updated on time, this rule still applies. "Non-Spoiler Date" is the day at which the episode and its contents are no longer considered a spoiler by the wiki's spoiler policy.
Status Legend
- ✓ = Episode is not a spoiler
- ✘ = Episode has aired in English, spoiler for less than 2 weeks
- ✘ = Episode has not aired in English, is still a spoiler
- ✘ = Unreleased episode
