This year we celebrate 30 Years of CO.ZA, South Africa's premier commercial internet domain name. As we reflect on three decades of growth, we see CO.ZA’s journey mirroring the broader expansion of the internet and digital economy in South Africa. Managed by the ZA Registry Consortium (Pty) Ltd (ZARC), CO.ZA stands as a cornerstone of South Africa's digital landscape. Neil Dundas, Co-CEO of ZARC, notes, “The evolution of CO.ZA domain names and websites reflects the technological advancements, economic shifts, and societal changes within South Africa since our first democratic elections in 1994.
