The second season of RuPaul's Drag Race Global All Stars was announced on August 29th, 2024. On July 29, 2024, it was announced that a cast consisting of 14 contestants from various Drag Race spin-offs from around the world would compete for a cash prize of $200,000 USD, and a spot in the International Pavilion of the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
