Welcome to Öster Malma

Meet Swedish wildlife up close in their natural habitat. Explore Swedish wildlife for all ages. The park embraces the fact of wildlife, even though all animals kept in the park are bred in captivity. We believe that the moose, who is the king of the forest, should have full access to our forests, and the red deer to its marshland. The animals will therefore not be standing on display behind the fence, but instead be seen in their natural environment.

Dogs are not allowed in Wildlife Park as this can be stressful for the fenced animals.

Enjoy high quality food from the surrounding forests and lakes. Our specialty is in wild game meat, that our skilled chefs carefully prepare for seasonal menus.

During the week (wed-sat) you can enjoy 1-7 course dinners in the castle, from a “Viltmiddag” to a gourmet dinner. The menu is seasonal and changes week by week depending on supply from nature, forest and wild game meat. We always offer a selection of wine and drinks the pairs well with the food.

Lunch and breakfast is served in restaurant Jägaren, always with at least something with wild game meat.

For chrismas and other traditional holidays we can offer swedish classics such as “julbord” and “smörgåsbord” in an amazing environment.

Wake up rested in our newly renovated, dog friendly hotel or hostel with beautiful meadows and the forest just outside the windows.

Welcome to our farm shop located in “Restaurant Jägaren”. Here you will find wild game meat from the surroundings, products produced by us and locals. Perfekt gifts and handicraft to bring home or as a present.

If you need help choosing game meat or feel uncertain how to cook it properly – we are here to help. Game meat is healthier, leaner and more nutritious than other meat – and easy to cook – No stranger than cooking other meat. You can replace any other meat with game meat.
