Astro Boy Reboot is a upcoming French-Japanese animated series co-produced by Tezuka Productions, and the French studios Caribara Productions and Shibuya Productions. It is a reboot of the anime and manga series Astro Boy, created by Osamu Tezuka.
It seems to be a somewhat different take on the series, With the released plot synopsis explaining the premise of the series Post Rework, Atom is the only robot capable of real emotions, And he wants to become closer to a classmate named Silica, While also hiding his identity as the Robot Superhero "Astro Boy".

- The only confirmed characters for the series so far are Astro Boy, Uran, And a new character named Silica. The pre rework version also included two new character named Fubuki (Who some people think looks like Tobio (He's not)) and Akino, As well as a version of Atlas. Two other characters who resemble previously existed characters are included in some promotion images , a slightly overweight, blond-haired man who resembles Skunk Kusai; and a man with glasses who strongly resembles Doctor Tenma. It is possible that these were the actual identities of these characters.
- The Pre Rework version was planned to be mostly 2D Animated, But the Post Rework version will be 3D.
