The background

Since 2017, Loisigroup has created leisure complexes built around different concepts. With trampoline parks, escape rooms, quiz venues, karaoke and soon karting combined with video games and augmented reality, the group has diversified as its success grew.

After starting out with Trampo Jump, a brand of single-activity trampoline fleets, Loisigroup made the switch to multi-activity venues. Customers can enjoy escape rooms, borrow board games or take part in TV-style quizzes, all in one place.

The challenge

The Trampo Jump trampoline park opened in 2017 and proved that there was a demand for this type of entertainment, with the first year exceeding €300,000 in turnover. The brand was able to attract customers thanks to effective marketing, mainly via its website which helped to publicise the leisure park quickly.

This motivated the founder to design more parks and activities. At the beginning of 2020, a space was found to accommodate the second venue. Unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic delayed the project, and Trampo Jump’s first centre also had to be shut down.

“The Covid-19 pandemic confirmed how important it was for our company to communicate and stay close to our customers. Thanks to social media, our website, and our email and SMS communications, we have been able to stay in touch with our customers.”

Stéphane Michalski, founder of Loisigroup

The company took the opportunity to consolidate its digital activities, particularly by preparing the creation of future websites for their upcoming brands. As soon as lockdown was over, Trampo Jump’s customers were excited to attend the venue once again. Soon after, a second Trampo Jump opened its doors, along with an escape room brand, Rush Out.

The solution

To implement its digital solutions, Loisigroup enlisted a web professional. Their need was clear: reliable, easy-to-use services that would scale quickly when a new brand was created.

“We didn’t have any technical knowledge within the company to build our website, messaging services, and so on. Then our provider suggested OVHcloud to us as an effective, reliable European solution that could meet all our needs.”

The managed web hosting solution was chosen. With multiple databases, storage space, and the performance to host multiple websites, this solution could be scaled to meet the group's needs.

To communicate internally as well as with its customers, Loisigroup uses email services, with customised email accounts linked to each brand’s domain name. The SMS Pro solution was also used for more direct customer communication.

All of the group’s websites are now hosted on the same service. With a multisite, every time a domain name is opened, it is reserved and linked to the hosting plan, so that the brand has a unique website.

“Our provider trained us on the essential security rules we needed to know when operating an internet business, which proved to us once again that OVHcloud was the right choice for our services. Security is a shared responsibility. With OVHcloud, we benefit from secure solutions that respect our data.”

The result

Despite the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic, Loisigroup has made use of digital tools to prepare for the upswing in their business activity, reaching a turnover of €1.6 million in 2022, with more than 211,000 admissions.
The OVHcloud solutions adopted allow the company to continue its growth, with the creation of new websites, domain names, email addresses, and more.

The group expects to launch one new brand per year from 2024, and to support this, it plans to move towards a higher hosting offer.

In addition to its current services, the Group continues to grow, particularly by anticipating what it will need in the future.

“We are working to improve our tools, such as collaborative working, and we are studying OVHcloud’s solutions along with the Marketplace to meet our needs. In the future, we are also considering virtual private servers (VPS) to host our future applications.”
