Night Raiders is the second book in the Night Speakers series by the English author Ali Sparkes. It is preceded by Night Speakers and is followed by Night Walker. It was released on the 6th of September, 2018.
Plot[]
Even after the events of the dark-light god, Matt Wheeler, Elena Hickson and Tima Bahar are still getting up at 1:34 a.m. every night and they are being stalked by Spin.
Then they find out about Carra, a member of the Quorat, a group of planets that protect the universe. Carra has come to Earth to find Morto, a man from Ayot who is coming to destroy the Earth.
Matt, Elena and Tima set out to find the thing that caused them to awaken every night. With limited time before Morto can remove all animal life from the world, Thornleigh falls under a crisis from the harandela, plants from Ayot, that remove oxygen from the air.
Carra and the Night Speakers need to find Morto before it becomes too late and his plants remove humankind from the face of the Earth.
